I apologize for not posting for almost a month, but I have a excuse for you. I've broken middle finger on my right hand  (you can laugh, no prob). This happened right after Christmas... Spent about 10 days at home and didn't even want to look at the computer screen. Well, I'm right-handed, and it impacted my normal abilities to work on keyboard. After being tired sitting at home (and regaining some normal use of right hand) I returned to work... I still wear splint on my right hand, but can use pinkie to help typing. In a mean time, I've trained my left to use mouse (that might not be as accurate as using right hand, but much better then before). It will take another 3 weeks to recover, plus some time to regain full movement in the finger. Unfortunately, this is not the end of it - the problem is more serious and old (some bone problem) so I'd have to go through surgery on that finger later on and again, recovery will take approximately the same time.

But enough about bad stuff and me, let's look at what new happened while I wasn't blogging...

First,  Phil Harvey created a solution for spell checking Spaces posts. Nice, but I already installed ieSpell (which is more generic solution).

Next, new version (1.7) of dasBlog is now available for everyone's enjoyment (it is now hosted on Source Forge) as reported by  Omar Shahine and  Scott Hanselman. Improvements are great, I hope that all small issues will be cleaned up soon. I might migrate to my own hosting and dasBlog later on.

In MS software releases I rather mention LogParser 2.2 which made it to Microsoft downloads today, instead of MS Anti-Spyware (it needs some more work to become usable for me).
